Ryan Leborys was born in Baltimore into a hardworking Irish Catholic family. Diagnosed with dyslexia and learning disabilities as a child, he had to learn differently — visually, spatially, by building and seeing. What looked like a limitation became a creative strength.

A True Story
Hello, my name is Ryan. I want to share the story of how my life was changed — and how these works of art came to be.
For about five years, I ran my own business in a demanding, high-stress role. Then the housing market crashed. I had to lay off my employees, leave my apartment, and sell nearly all of my furniture. As a lifelong Christian, I had always believed in God — but life had been good for so long that I had only ever prayed for others. I had never truly prayed for myself.
I turned to scripture. I began reading my Bible and watching TBN for more than six hours a day. I prayed for strength, and for the Holy Spirit to use me. One afternoon, as I turned on the television, I felt a warm sensation wash over my entire body — and I began to draw.
The Holy Spirit led me into a disciplined season. I ate clean — mostly almonds, with apple juice — and for the next seventy-two hours I drew without stopping and without sleep. What came out of those three days are the pictures you see today.
God is great. I am filled with a deeper, truer happiness than I have ever known, and I feel blessed to share this art with you.

From a young age, Ryan started businesses, worked with his hands, raced bikes at a professional level, and chased inventions. He built a work ethic that didn't wait for permission and a vision that didn't shrink for skeptics.

Ryan's motto is simple: Sky's the limit. Crosswalkers is an extension of that belief — that faith, creativity, and perseverance can build something that lasts.
